SEZ "Togliatti" increases the volume of investments

On November 12, the SEZ "Togliatti" was visited by Dmitry Bogdanov, the Minister of Economic Development of the Samara Region. He assessed the progress of construction of the railway sidings and buildings to accommodate residents.

The delegation examined the construction sites of the logistics center of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works,Faurecia Automotive Solutions LLC, customs infrastructure facilities. According to Sergey Andreev, the general manager of the SEZ, all work is being carried out in accordance with the schedule.

Dmitry Bogdanov and Sergey Andreev discussed the pace of development of the investment site and summed up the results of the SEZ "Togliatti" for 9 months of this year. Despite the difficult economic situation, the volume of investments by SEZ residents increased by 74% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 1.7 billion rubles. This year alone, 267 jobs were created at the SEZ enterprises.

Currently, the region is implementing nearly 200 investment projects with a total investment of over 1 trillion. rubles. It is planned to create more than 4.1 thousand jobs. By the end of this year, 14 new productions will be launched in the Samara region.
