Chinese company provided medical masks for the municipal transport enterprises

By decision of the city operational headquarters, personal protective equipment was transferred for the needs of drivers and conductors of municipal passenger transport.

On Tuesday, May 12, in the operational headquarters of Togliatti was given a package of disposable medical masks in the amount of 3,700 pieces. The general manager of the branch of JSC Chinese Engineering Corporation (PRC) in the Samara Region addressed to the Head of the city of Togliatti with the initiative to purchase personal protective equipment for the needs of Togliatti residents. At present, the Chinese company has been involved in the construction of a new facillity at the production site of Togliattiazot PJSC. This project is being implemented in Togliatti as part of a strategic investment program aimed at introducing new technologies and increasing the efficiency of production capacities in the Samara Region.

The head of Togliatti, Sergei Antashev, thanked the Chinese partners for their assistance and support in the fight against the spread of COVID-19. By decision of the city operational headquarters, the newly arrived masks were transferred to the municipal transport enterprises of MP TPATP No. 3 and MP of TTU to provide drivers and conductors.
