Togliatti hosted II Festival of Japanese Culture "Kaiga - fest"

On Friday, November 6, II Festival of Japanese culture "Kaiga - fest" openedat the Togliatti College of technical and artistic education. The event was organized by the Club of Japanese culture and language with the support of partners, including Alliance Francaise Togliatti, a resident of the SEZ "Togliatti" - the Japanese company HI-LEX Rus Ltd. and the Office of the Mayor of Tolyatti.

The first Festival of Japanese culture "Kaiga" was held in June, 2015. The visiors enjoyed interactive sites with the original Japanese board and video games, also for fans of modern Japanese culture was presented a theme fair.

Various workshopshad been organized for the participants and guests of the event, including workshops on the basics of the Japanese language, the art of "reiki", batik painting, drawing manga and graphic drawings, and sushi.

Cosplay and song contests were the central events on the programme of the Festival. The participants were awardedwith diplomas, and the winners received gifts from the Club of Japanese language and culture "Kaiga".
