Official delegation of Togliatti visited the city of Bobruisk of Republic of Beralus

The purpose of the visit: to participate in City Day events dedicated to the 637th anniversary of the founding of the city and the 80th anniversary of liberation from the Nazi invaders, as well as to discuss plans for cooperation between the city of Togliatti and the city of Bobruisk.

During the visit, the delegation took part in the ceremonial events dedicated to the City Day: laying wreaths and flowers at the tank monument at the grave of General B.S. Batov and at the mass grave of Soviet army soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War, and laying flowers at the memorial sign to the operational and security group of the NKGB of the BSSR Berezina.

The delegation took part in the conference Investments. Innovations. Prospects, and visited and inspected the production facilities of JSC Bobruisk Plant TDIA and JSC Krasny Pishchevik.

The members of the delegation got acquainted with the experience of holding cultural events in Bobruisk: the celebration of Orthodox creativity "With love in my heart", the festival of folk art "Wreath of Friendship" - "In the circle of friends!", which was attended by the Tolyatti dance ensemble "Credo", the festival "Let's eat savory!".

The delegations visit to the Mogilev Regional Drama and Comedy Theatre named after V. I. Dunin?Martsinkevich (Bobruisk) made it possible to continue negotiations on organizing exchange tours in 2025 between the Bobruisk theatre and the G. B. Drozdov Drama Theatre Koleso (Togliatti); meetings at art schools helped to reach an agreement on mutual participation in creative competitions (online). The delegation also visited the Bobruisk local history and art museums and inspected the Cherry Orchard tourist complex. On 27-28.06.2024, a tourist group from the city of Bobruisk was in Bobruisk.Togliatti, organized by the Rumb Travel Agency.

On the Day of the City of Bobruisk, the Togliatti local branch of the Volunteers of Victory and the Leninsky district organization of Bobruisk NGO Belaya Rus signed a cooperation agreement.The solemn signing ceremony took place at the Mogilev Regional Drama and Comedy Theatre named after V.I. Dunin?Martsinkevich (Bobruisk), where representatives of both organizations gathered. The agreement opens up broad prospects for Belaya Rus and Volunteers of Victory for the further implementation of joint projects. This will not only strengthen ties between the two cities and countries but will also contribute to the development of the volunteer movement, the patriotic upbringing of young people, and the social activity of the population. The certified package of documents includes an initiative on Belarusian?Russian cooperation in the field of preserving historical memory as the foundation of the spiritual and cultural traditions of the two countries.
