The officials of Taiwan major component manufactures visited Togliatti

Within two days (September 1-2) the official representatives of the major automotive component manufactures from Taiwan visited Togliatti with an economic mission. The official visit was aimed at search and establishment of the new contacts with local components manufactures.

Togliatti was the third city and the final point on the route of the Taiwan Trade Mission in Russia. The visit started in Moscow where the delegates had attended the International Assembly of Automotive Industry (МАА-2014). There were also several meetings in Kaluga region where the cooperation issues were discussed with the officials of the Kaluga automotive industry.

The representatives of the Taiwan automotive component industry visited the AvtoVAZ and GM-AvtoVAZ factories and got acquainted with a number of other companies in the city of Togliatti, specializing in the production of automotive components. The next day, September 2, the delegation met with representatives of Togliatti enterprises to establish new business contacts and to share the experience.

Taiwanese guests appreciated the support of the Department of International and Interregional Relations of the Mayor of the city of Togliatti. The delegation was pleased with the conditions and opportunities created in Togliatti, for the development of joint projects with foreign investment and expressed a desire to develop further mutually beneficial cooperation.
