The mayor of Togliatti Sergey Andreev met with a delegation from the Federal Republic of Germany

Yesterday the mayor of the city of Togliatti Sergey Andreev met with a delegation of the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt (Germany). Foreign guests headed by the chairman of the Committee on Economy and Science of Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt Mr. Tillman Gotthard Tegel arrived in Togliatti with informational purpose. Besides the imposing parliamentary group the delegation included leaders of the Chamber of Commerce of Magdeburg city and representatives of German business circles. During their visit to Togliatti, the delegation visited AVTOVAZ, Special economic zone of Togliatti and industrial park of the high-tech Zhyguli valley, technopark Togliattisintez; as well they had a meeting with representatives of the business circles of Togliatti in Togliatti Chamber of Commerce and also exchanged their views and experience with administration and members of the Duma of Togliatti.

At the meeting in the office of the mayor the city administration and the German side presented economic potential of Togliatti and Saxony-Anhalt and discussed future prospects of cooperation in areas of automotive and mechanical engineering.
