The Mayor Sergey Andreyev met representatives of the French company automotive components manufacturer

Yesterday the Mayor of the city Sergey Andreyev met with representatives of the French company Faurecia-Metalloprodukcia Exhaust Systems. During the conversation the head of the city and the Managing Director of the company Jean-Pierre Schmitt discussed the issues of further development of the enterprise on the territory of Togliatti city. In particular, the head of FMES LLC pointed out that the company was going to increase the production in the nearest future (car components for JSC AVTOVAZ).

We have been developing lately and are not planning to come to a halt. In this respect we have found a location for our new production site: the facilities with a total area of 14 thousand square meters are located in the industrial section of Avtozavodski district. It can accommodate labs, convenient logistics centre, offices and the factory itself. Currently refurbishing work is in progress, and we are planning to finish it in late August, said Mr. Schmitt.

The Managing Director of FMES LLC also added that so long as the company was increasing its production capacity, it was ready to consider the possibility for Togliatti engineers and technicians to be employed by the company. For that purpose the company is planning to organize special training.

At the end of the meeting Jean-Pierre Schmitt invited the mayor Sergey Andreyev to take part in official opening of the new factory. For his part, the mayor wished the representatives of the French company success in business and in their effort to find more responsible employees and customers.

The French company Faurecia-Metalloprodukcia Exhaust Systems (LLC) has been successfully doing business in Togliatti since 2009. It was specially established for work with AVTOVAZ. First products of the foreign enterprise were manufactured for the classic LADA cars. Later the company started to produce automotive components (exhaust systems) for LADA Apart from Togliatti auto works, FECT Russia supplies with its products such manufacturers as Renault, Nissan, Ford, PSA Peugeot Citron, koda Auto, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi Motors and General Motors.
