The officials discussed the results of current round of the educational project "Volga - Val d'Oise"

The meeting dedicated to the results of the regular round of the Russian-French project in the sphere of secondary education - "Volga - Val d'Oise" took place at Togliatti engineering college 26 June.

Following the signed agreement concerning the exchanges of the students and the professors between GARAC National Automobile School of Argenteuil (France) and Togliatti engineering college, three French students and a professor did an internship in the enterprises of Togliatty (which are the dialers of AvtoVAZ) from 8 to 27 June 2015.

Since signing in 2012 bilateral agreement, the Russian-French project in the sphere of secondary education - "Volga - Val d'Oise" has been fulfilled with the support of The City Hall of the city district of Togliatti jointly with TheAlliance Franaise. According to Cultural Attach of the Russian Embassy in France Igor Solovyov, the mentioned project is a unique thing in the sphere of secondary professional education for both countries.

Head of the department of international and interregional relations of The City Hall of the city district of Togliatti Natalia Hrist during her welcoming speech thanked the administration, professors and students of the college for their contribution to the development of the international educational project. She noted that the project had its vital humanitarian component. That day the young people possessed an opportunity to have an internship in the huge and major Russian and foreign factories and enterprises, to get practical experience, to comprehend the specific of this or that job (that might be your future workplace), to create a social network with the foreign colleagues potential partners and, of course, to make some new friends.

From their side, the French students shared their impressions of staying in Togliatti and on-the-job training in the citys enterprises. The delegation from GARAC National Automobile School assessed the level of professional training in Togliatti engineering college highly and also liked enthralling and rich extracurricular activities.
